Representatives of the Kosovo Industrial Property Agency (IPA) received the representatives of the General Directorate of Industrial Property of Albania (GDIP), with whom they talked about further strengthening the cooperation, as well as the exchange of experiences between the two countries in the field of industrial property.
On this occasion, Nezir Gashi, General Director of the Kosovo Industrial Property Agency, described as very important the cooperation with the General Directorate of Industrial Property of Albania. He stressed that the exchange of experiences between these two institutions is a great help for further development of this field in both countries.
Gashi announced that from the beginning of 2007 until today this agency has received 36,080 applications for industrial property, such as: patents, trademarks, etc.
Meanwhile, the General Director of Industrial Property of Albania, Ledina Beqiraj Agalliu has shown commitment for continuous support and cooperation with API.
She stressed that organizing staff training, promotional activities, exchange of experiences between the two institutions will be just some of the supporting actions for the advancement of Kosovo in the field of industrial property.
