The Director of the Kosovo Metrology Agency (KMA), Ferki Fejza, held a meeting with the Director of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) Martin Milton and the Secretary of the International Committee on Weight and Measures (CIPM), Takashi Usuda in France.
Fejza announced that the Republic of Kosovo has submitted the application for BIPM membership in March this year.
At this meeting, which was also present the Kosovo's ambassador in France, Qendrim Gashi, it has been discussed about the process of membership of the BIMP Metrology Agency, where according to Fejza, Kosovo has received support.
"We believe that Kosovo will have the opportunity to be part of BIPM in the near future and this would be a great achievement for Kosovo Metrology, as it will create great opportunities and would eliminate non-tariff barriers." , said Fejza.
