On this occasion, the Minister stated that, during the meeting, she expressed her appreciation for the continuous support that Germany extends to the people of Kosovo, as well as for the concrete projects implemented within our Ministry.
She further noted that discussions also covered the Ministry’s plans for the development of green industrial parks, representing a tangible opportunity to attract new German investments in Kosovo.
Kusari-Lila also highlighted the successful cooperation already established between German companies and local businesses, as well as the growing interest of German businesses in investing in Kosovo.
She reaffirmed that Germany remains one of Kosovo’s most important partners, while the Kosovo diaspora continues to play an exceptional role in strengthening this cooperation.
The Minister further added that discussions also addressed the organization of Kosovo’s Sustainable Development Week, scheduled to take place in June 2026, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, with the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation now also included as a co-organizing institution.
Moreover, she noted that the advancement of dual education in line with the German model was also discussed, with a view to better aligning the skills of young people with labour market demands.
“Cooperation between our two countries is of great value and high importance, and this value continues to grow day by day for the benefit of our peoples,” Minister Kusari-Lila emphasised.
