Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, along with Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, have visited the factory for clothing production “TexCo” in Shkabaj, Pristina.

Minister Shala emphasized that the Government of Kosovo is committed to assist local producers in increasing production capacities and vocational training.

"Along with Deputy Prime Minister Limaj, we visited the company 'TexCo', which exports its products to European Union countries, which products are sold under the label of the Republic of Kosovo. We, as a Kosovo government, are committed to assist businesses by enabling workers to be more competitive. It is a pleasure that 90 percent of the workers are women, and our young people are considered to be learning the job very quickly, "said Minister Shala.

Likewise, the Deputy Prime Minister Limaj is also pleased with the work of this factory.

"All this production that is being produced in this factory is for export. This shows that with a joint commitment in creating an investment climate and with the support that should be given to businesses, opportunities for development are great in our country. There are dozens of factories in Kosovo that are entering the world markets, “said Limaj.

He has shown a commitment that the Kosovo Government will support its fiscal policies to make it enable to have as many investors as possible as well as and to offer employment to more people.

The owner of this factory, Yusuf Eldelekiloglu, is also satisfied with the work. He said that within a short period of time we aim to double the number of employees.
