The Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate (CMSI) informs the public that market inspections are continuing intensively, with a special focus on dairy products for non-compliances identified by the report of the Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA).
During field inspections, products with non-compliances identified by the FVA were encountered, such as:
• VITA Sour cream, 18% – 180 g
• VITA Sour cream, 18% – 400 g
• VITA Sour cream, 18% – 800 g
• Mushroom Cream Cheese – 200 g
• DRENA Traditional cream – 1 kg
• Holla Cooking Cream – 1 L
• MY COW Milk – 3.2%
• MILKET Traditional cream – 800 g
• AJKA Sour cream – 500 g
Meanwhile, CMSI teams have also carried out re-inspections in several markets, which were ordered days ago to recall dairy products, which resulted in non-compliance according to the FVA report.
During these re-inspections, it was verified that economic operators have respected the CMSI orders of several days ago and have taken the required measures to withdraw the products from the market.
During today, 23 inspections were carried out in these municipalities:
• Gjilan
• Prishtinë
• Pejë
• Ferizaj
• Gjakovë
• Podujevë
• Mitrovicë
CMSI emphasizes that field inspections will continue in the coming days, with the aim of protecting consumers and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
