The MIET Market Inspectorate in cooperation with the Inspectors of the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), have inspected retail points of oil and petroleum products in order to supervise the implementation of the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for determining the trade margin. In some businesses there has been inequality in the amount of stock and in this case fines will be imposed in accordance with the law.
Were inspected warehouses and markets, and in this case a significant amount of food oils were seized due to lack of documentation, price discrepancies and fraud with the quantity of products, etc. In this case, a large number of fines have been imposed and the cases will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Inspections will continue and in any case when violations are found, punitive measures will be taken.
