Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, respectively the Kosovo Agency for Standardization, marking today the World Standards Day with the topic “Shared Vision for a Better World”
In this changing and challenging world, global cooperation is more necessary than ever before. The standards help us follow a common vision for a better world, where innovation, economic development and environmental protection are closely linked, Minister Rozeta Hajdari emphasized, during her speech.
Minister Hajdari emphasized the needs of the country and the requirements of the European Union, adding that Kosovo is focused on the adoption of harmonized standards, which every day are more and more present in KSA as Kosovar standards, in which case one of the conditions for accession to the European Union is met.
She also pledged to engage with the Government, regulators and all other key actors to promote them towards measurable progress, adding that we are in constant efforts, and even have a legal obligation to meet the country's requirements with European and international standards, for ensure that products, processes and services are of the highest quality and safest in Kosovo.
The conference continued with a fruitful panel discussion, with professionals in the field, which aimed to raise awareness and awareness of the importance of standards.
On this occasion, Minister Hajdari expressed her thanks to the Heads of the Technical Committees and the Professional Council, for their work, on a voluntary basis, in the field of standards, and then they were also awarded with a certificate of appreciation.
