The Kosovo Metrology Agency, which operates within the Ministry of Trade and Industry, has verified the weights of the mills before the harvest season, so that the farmers are protected and the weights are measured accurately.
The Market Inspectorate and the Metrology Agency have carried out the extraordinary verification of measuring instruments, where the legal control has been done.
The head of the Metrology Agency, Ferki Fejza, said that this is another step in consumer protection, which according to him, is a priority of the Minister Vesel Krasniqi.
Fejza said that such verifications will be done in the coming days, to protect the consumer from possible fraud.
The Inspectorate and the Kosovo Metrology Agency are calling that all users of measuring devices be verified for applying the law on Metrology.
