The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade within the framework of the World Entrepreneurship Week, presented today to the representatives of the Chambers and Economic Associations of Kosovo the final draft of the Draft Law on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
In this workshop Minister Hajdari, said that MIET is maximally committed to pave the way for entrepreneurs for easier access to finance and to encourage them to invest in innovation of new products, services and processes, or new business models that the business will use, which automatically means growth for the business.
"Our goal as a government is to accelerate innovation in enterprises by investing in the modernization of production methods, digitization of services, raising human capacities, with special emphasis on investing in our youth as the most important potential and resource for the development of innovation in the entrepreneur", said Hajdari.
In this meeting with Chambers and Economic Associations, the Draft Law on Innovation and Entrepreneurs was presented by the Director of the Innovation Department of MIET, Mrs. Laura Zherka, as well as the Innovation Fund with support schemes for the development and growth of innovation in entrepreneurship, from acting General Director of the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), Mr. Zef Dedaj.
During the meeting, there were fruitful discussions by the participants, who shared their constructive points of view with concrete proposals regarding the final version of this draft law.
Through this Law, the organization, conditions and manner of supporting, promoting and encouraging innovative activities with an impact on entrepreneurship are regulated, through the new Innovation Fund Mechanism.
