Industrial infrastructure is an important factor for expanding the industrial base, increasing domestic investment, and attracting foreign investment to Kosovo.
Through investments from the Government of Kosovo, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation is working to finalize industrial zones in Mitrovica, Podujeva, Lipjan, Rahovec and Drenas 2.
Meanwhile, work is expected to begin on new industrial zones in Gjakova, Gjilan and Shtime. Analyses are also being conducted for the zones in Zubin Potok and Zvecan, while an application for the new industrial zone in Suhareka is expected.
The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, emphasized that in this mandate the determination is clear: improving the trade balance, increasing domestic production and the well-being of citizens, strengthening the economy and state of Kosovo.
