The minister of Trade and Industry, Bajram Hasani, together with the mayor of Vitia Municipality, Sokol Haliti, today inaugurated the Free Economic Zone of Budrige, in Vitia.
In the inaugural speech, Minister Bajram Hasani, said that this Economic Zone is very important for businesses of Ana-Morava and Vitina. "Today, together with the mayor, we come to inaugurate this economic zone that we believe is very important for Anamorava region, and for Vitina in general. Since the zone is located between Gjilan and Vitia it means that it can be used by all businesses. We believe that this Government has made its mind to empower businesses and to strengthen the products, this is shown also from the last decision we have taken to remove all tax barriers to all productions, raw materials and semi-products. Therefore, we will continue to empower all the economic zones that are under the development process, and especially to this zone we will give extra priority, also I believe that in the shortest possible time we will finish the construction, "said Minister Hasani.
Minister Hasani pointed out that the zone is an encouragement for Ana-Morava’s businesses to invest in, because from now on they can count on state, its support and we will stand close by their site.
While, the mayor of Vitia Municipality, Sokol Haliti, said that they wanted a Free Economic Zone since long time ago, and that this zone will not serve only Vitia, but the whole region. “Inauguration works for building the economic zone, think which citizens of Vitia desired the most, will not serve only to Vitia, and villages, but to a whole region of seven municipalities, from Gjilan to Ferizaj. Since the Zone is located along the highway Ferizaj- Gjilan, and from today meeting with the minister we agreed to give an extra effort in its construction, and to invest during the next two years, so it could be finalized as soon as possible. This is the first phase of investment made by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, afterword I believe that we could enlarge the zone since we already have received signs from foreign and local investors to invest in, and to produce their products in this zone”, "said Mayor Haliti.
Meanwhile, minister Hasani visited several businesses of this municipality, such as: the factory of Styrofoam and facade networks “Euro Fisi”, in Budrige; the factory for Styrofoam manufacturing "DakaTherm" in Pozharan; as well as the factory of electro-metals "Elektro Stublla" in Stubella.
