The Minister of Trade and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami hosted at the meeting the French Ambassador in Kosovo, Didier Chabert.
Minister Bajrami informed the ambassador Chabert about the reforms of the Kosovo’s Government taken to improve doing business environment and for creating facilities to support investment. She said that so far has been made significant achievements which are noticed by business community and international credible organizations.
The Ambassador Chabert vowed to engage in cultivation and strengthening of relationship between France and the Republic of Kosovo, and said that the French government is looking to increase economic cooperation with Kosovo.
Minister Bajrami and the Ambassador Chabert agreed to work on coordinating an agenda in order to realize activities that aspire intensification of economic cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of France.
Besides other topics, the meeting also discussed the idea of establishing the Kosovo & France Investment and Trade Forum, through which activity the Kosovo will be able to promote its offer to French investors and present many potential projects for development.
