Minister Bajrami hosted a delegation of British Parliament 

Today in Prishtina, the minister of Trade and Industry Hykmete Bajrami spoked with a delegation from Grete Britain, composed by: Martin Vickers, Nick Dakin, Andrew Rosindell, Baroness Barker and Earl of Sandwich.

Main topic of discussion was on exploring the possibilities of deepening economic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Grete Britain.   

Minister Bajrami informed the Grate Britain’s Parliament Officials on up today structural reforms taken by the Kosovo government. She said that we have marked encouraging results in improving doing business environment in our country.  Among other, she also mentioned appropriate legal infrastructure that is build, reduction of administrative barriers, infrastructure improvement, favorable fiscal policies etc. All these positive development, made that the international organizations to rank Kosovo as the country with most favorable conditions for doing business and to invest in, said Bajrami. She explained to her interlocutors the country’s huge potential that can be offered to the British investors, in different economic sectors important to Kosovo, such as: agribusiness, information technology, tourism, energy and mines, textile, etc.  

On the other side, the British Parliament’s Official expressed their interest for deepening further the collaboration with the government of Kosovo, in benefit of increasing investments of British companies in Kosovo. They also were satisfied with the host offered, and commitment of the government of Republic of Kosovo to cooperate closely and in achieving this common objective in interest of both countries.
