The minister of Trade and Industry hosted at the meeting the Mayor of Vitia municipality, Sokol Halitin. At the meeting they discussed for intensifying cooperation between the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the municipality of Vitia, in regard to economic development and strengthening of private sector in this municipality.
Minister Bajrami informed Mayor Haliti about the MTI projects related to enterprise empowering and support of business activities through creation of favorable business policies. Among others, minister Bajrami added that the MTI is supporting businesses throughout the Republic of Kosovo, in establishing the business parks which will provide favorable and appropriate infrastructure to the local and foreign businesses.
The Mayor Haliti expressed the interest of the municipality he leads for working closely with the Ministry of Trade and Industry on establishing the Industrial Park in Vitia, which will be a very strong tool for increasing economic activities and general development of this municipality.
Minister Bajrami expressed full commitment of the MTI and the government of the Republic of Kosovo on supporting the municipality of Vitia in approaching this goal as well as other projects aim of which is economic development and generation of new jobs in municipality of Vitia.
