Minister Bajrami received a delegation of businessmen from Germany

Minister of Trade and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami, received in a meeting a delegation of businessmen from Germany, chaired by the Executive Director of the Committee on Economic Relations with Eastern Europe, Michael Harms. Part of this delegation were representatives from the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy, renowned German companies such as German Telecom, German Railways, BASF, Airbus Group International, Erst & Young and others.

Part of this delegation were representatives from the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy, renowned German companies such as German Telecom, German Railways, BASF, Airbus Group International, Erst & Young and others.

Minister Bajrami, after welcoming in Kosovo, explained to the German guests the reforms so far made to improve the business environment in our country. She said that we have built a very suitable environment for doing business, we have improved legislation, infrastructure and are successfully implementing the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union, which provides an opportunity for Kosovo products to be exported to the EU market without paid customs duty.

The minister stressed that Germany is the largest investor in Kosovo so far, however the space for German investments in Kosovo is much greater, she said.

Bajram appealed to investors from Germany to invest in Kosovo, given the good conditions our country offers, the potentials in many industrial sectors as well as the many human resources that are a valuable asset, she said.

The Kosovo government, Bajrami underlined, will be consistently committed to providing full support to foreign investors.
