The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, together with Deputy Minister Mentor Arifaj and the Chief of Cabinet, Mr. Kushtrim Dakaj, received the ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Qemal Minxhozi, in a farewell meeting on the occasion of the end of his mandate in the Republic of Kosovo and thanked him for the cooperation and contribution given in Kosovo for the approximation of sound bilateral, economic and commercial relations.
Minister Hajdari praised the commitment of Ambassador Minxhozi, who, as she said, has created fruitful bridges of inter-institutional cooperation between Kosovo and Albania.
Kosovo is considered a strong economic pillar for maritime tourism in Albania, which is increasing yearly.
In this regard, Minister Hajdari expressed her commitment to expand this cooperation in the mountain tourism sector in the northern regions of Albania, emphasizing the magnificent region of Nikaj – Mërtur.
In addition, they discussed the digital tourism platform, which is considered an extraordinary opportunity for the further development of this sector.
Such cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania has resulted in quite positive growth in trade exchanges, where the goods exported from Kosovo to Albania have increased, as well as the export of goods from Albania to Kosovo.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Hajdari congratulated Ambassador Mr. Qemal Minxhozi and wished him success in his future endeavors.
