Minister Hajdari had a meeting with flour importers in Kosovo

The Minister of Economy, Employment, Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Investments (MEETIESI), Rozeta Hajdari, together with flour importers in Kosovo have discussed the possibilities of cooperation for sufficient supply of flour and wheat, as well as for maintaining price stability.

Minister Hajdari pledged that they will work together and will try to remove barriers for importers in order to avoid the crisis.

The flour importers have welcomed the Ministry of Finance's decision to remove the VAT and have guaranteed that after removing these barriers there will be a supply of flour over the next few days and the price will be the same.
Importers have informed the minister that with the support of the ministry there would be a sufficient supply of flour and there would be no price increase.

Minister Hajdari, after meeting with the importers, decided to correct Decision 01 of 19 October 2017 on the measure against the import of flour (see attached photo).

Acting Secretary-General Irfan Lipovica has briefed importers on the Regional Cooperation Council's announcement on the creation of green corridors that allow the free movement of essential goods, including wheat and flour.

From this meeting, flour importers also received support from Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Imri Demelezi, who said that crisis management is important and at the same time it is also important to assess the impact this crisis will have on producers.
