The Minister of Economy, Employment, Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Investments (MEETIESI), Rozeta Hajdari, has met today the worker`s Syndicate of the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEC) to see more closely at the problems that are facing the employees of this corporation.
During the meeting, the syndicate has briefed the Minister regarding the problems and challenges that are facing KEC workers, especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The representatives of the syndicate have informed the Minister about the on-going work by KEC employees, as well as the problems they are facing. At the same time they also spoke about their requests.
Minister Hajdari expressed the willingness to meet the workers in the coming days, promising that she will be ready at any time to cooperate for resolving the problems, as well as to avoid any possible concerns they might face.
We emphasize that the safety and welfare of workers is a priority, and we as the Ministry and as the Government of Kosovo, will make sure to guarantee these.
The Minister thanked the KEC workers who in these difficult times are working nonstop to ensure sufficient power supply to the citizens and at the same time she stressed that her first visit to KEC took place with the Worker`s Syndicate as a message that the Kurti Government is with the workers and always in their protection.
