Minister Hajdari hosted in a briefing the new Head of the Cooperation Department at the German Embassy, Daniel Alker

Minister Hajdari welcomed Mr Alker and informed him with the organizational structure of the mandate of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, with the progress achieved in the advancement of policies and reforms for improving the environment for doing business, promoting and protecting investments, protecting competition, strengthening protection of industrial property, sustainable tourism and the development of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Minister Hajdari, during the conversation with Mr Alker, revealed the main objectives and support programs for businesses within the Strategy for Industrial Development and Business Support, as well as the Tourism Strategy 2030, including programs for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in our country. She expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the German Government for sustainable economic development in Kosovo.

Mr Alker expressed his full readiness for the further strengthening of cooperation between Kosovo and Germany, and informed regarding the development cooperation programs and projects in Kosovo, financed by Germany, in three main pillars:

– sustainable economic development – training and employment;

– climate and energy – just transition;

– peaceful and inclusive societies.

Germany continues to remain a strong partner of Kosovo for sustainable development and Euro-Atlantic integration.
