Minister Hajdari invites businesses to apply in three grant schemes for business subventions, in the amount of 3 million 650 thousand euros

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, held a press conference. The purpose of the conference was to inform the public about the launch of three grant schemes for business subventions (MSMEs), in amount of 3 million 650 thousand euros.

Minister Hajdari stressed the general purpose of the grant schemes and the reason for the direct financial support to the private sector.

According to Minister Hajdari, all this assistance is to enable the achievement of government objectives for job creation, export growth and beyond. All these schemes will be implemented with the main principle of good governance, which means more equal treatment, inclusiveness, transparency and accountability for all our citizens.

Likewise, the Minister also clarified the criteria for the enterprise sectors that will be supported and the principles of transparency and accountability. This time the way of application and assessment will take place online through the e-Kosova platform.

Minister Hajdari explained the objectives of the three grant schemes, which are divided into three categories:

In the category "Public call for financing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in specific areas" will be supported businesses in professional capacity building, development of new products and services, access to finance and increase of export potential. For this category have been allocated 2,000,000.00 (two million) euros.

In the category "Public call for financing of businesses, which will be created Start-Up with Spin-off and start-up businesses, to support Innovative projects" will be directly supported with financial means the businesses that will be created in Start-Up with Spin-off (natural persons who will register the enterprise in case of winning the grant), as well as Start-Up businesses, established 3 months to 3 years ago. For this category are allocated 1,150,000.00 € (one million one hundred and fifty thousand) euros.

In the category “Public call for SME subventions for the purchase of production / processing machinery” by KIESA will be supported Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve production and processing processes in order to increase competitiveness. For this category have been allocated 500,000.00 (five hundred thousand) euros.

Increasing the employment of women and people with special needs is a criterion for all categories / sectors in these three grant schemes.

Finally, Minister Hajdari invited and encouraged all businesses (MSMEs), start-up businesses and individuals to apply for financial support through these grant schemes, which have been launched on the website of the Ministry and in Electronic platform e-Kosova.

Meanwhile, the senior advisor to the minister, Leman Hatashi, has indicated that there are three grant schemes, each divided into three lots, and has clarified the minimum and maximum values ​​of grants that beneficiaries will have.
