Minister Hajdari meets the representatives of the Masdar company; they discuss investment opportunities in Kosovo

Minister Hajdari creates cooperation bridges with the prestigious renewable energy and green hydrogen company MASDAR, thus discussing possibilities of investment by this company in Kosovo

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari during her stay in the United Arab Emirates, in good faith of the Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and through him, met the senior management of the prestigious company Masdar, represented by Mr. U. Serkan Ata, with whom they discussed the climate of doing business in Kosovo and the opportunities offered for sustainable investments in our country.

Minister Hajdari, accompanied by colleagues from MINT, ME and Kosovo's ambassador to UAE, informed Mr. Ata related to the economic and democratic progress and the priorities for investment in Kosovo, including the priorities of industrial and energy policies, reforms with 16 and more laws of doing business in Kosovo, emphasizing the possibilities of application and negotiation through the law on public-private partnership, the draft law on sustainable investments and the draft law on renewable resources.

The representatives of the Masdar company expressed their interest in projects in the field of renewable energy and in the instruments that support investing in Kosovo, and Minister Hajdari provided more details about these instruments and legislative reliefs that encourage and protect sustainable investments in Kosovo. At the same time, she committed that they will convey additional information with concrete projects within the First Protocol of the Joint Economic Committe in Kosovo – EBA, which also includes the energy sector.

In the end, Minister Hajdari invited the representatives of the Masdar company to visit Kosovo and closely see the opportunities offered for investment in the country.
