Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, participated in the event “Breakfast for Executives”, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo
This event was attended by 25 leaders of member companies of the American Chamber, representatives from USAID and Raiffeisen Bank, who discussed the crisis of inflation, energy and labour force. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the ways that Government and Businesses can contribute to overcome these challenges.
In her speech, Minister Hajdari emphasized the government's efforts and all possible measures taken to address the challenges faced by private sector and added that continuous communication and coordination between the private sector and state institutions results in reasonable decision-making for mutual interest.
She further added that, while under her leadership, she is working intensively on finalizing national policies for the development of industry, innovation, entrepreneurship and tourism and that close consultations with the private sector contribute in building the vision and proposal of measures, so Kosovo be transformed into a more globally integrated industry in the coming years.
Minister Hajdari emphasized the conclusions of the value chains analysis for main industrial sectors, where it is proven that our entrepreneurs have excellent skills and competence in production, in various industrial sectors, and added that more government support will be offered to local businesses that will be able to produce products with high added value and provide decent employment.
The meeting was concluded with mutual gratitude, for open and constructive communication, and for common path for the development and transformation of our industry.
