Under the patronage of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo was opened the 21st edition of the international fair EXPOKOS, which is dedicated to sectors for Construction, Energy, Machinery, Defense and Security.
The event, dedicated to construction, energy, technology and real estate, was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, the President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, Mariano A. Davies, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi and other representatives from regional and international embassies.
Minister Hajdari stressed that Kosovo is a safe country especially now after the COVID-19 crisis and geopolitical changes, where in addition to economic growth and investment priorities, there is high growth of democracy and investment security.
In this context, Minister Hajdari said that the Republic of Kosovo, thanks to the principles of good governance, competitive advantages for 'near shoring', ranks first in the region with an increase in various international reports, which assess the democratization of the country, rule of law and law and human rights and freedoms.
"All these positive indicators for the image of our state, are a good message for every investor to invest in Kosovo", added Minister Hajdari.
The Western Balkans Fair – EXPOKOS, which is known as the "Balkan Gate", which is being held on 25 & 26 May 2022, is attended by 21 local and international manufacturing companies in various sectors.
