During her opening remarks, Minister Hajdari congratulated the Mita family for the tireless work that resulted in bringing the Volvo EX90 car to Kosovo, a model that was introduced for the first time in the Western Balkans region and thus placing Kosovo on the map of Volvo, the 100-year-old luxury vehicle brand, positioned in the market as a global brand that revolves around safety and the Swedish heritage and design with environmentally friendly practices.
The Volvo brand, synonymous with safety, innovation and clean technology, with the new electric Volvo EX90 model being introduced, marks an important step towards a bright future with sustainable development for Kosovo, the minister said, among other things. The minister emphasized that the opening of this modern showroom is an important step that demonstrates our shared commitment to providing high-quality products and services, as well as to promoting safety and environmentally friendly practices.
In the context of advancing policies and legislative reforms during this governing mandate, for a more favorable environment for doing business, increasing innovation and promoting and protecting investments, Minister Hajdari highlighted the latest credible reports by the OECD and FDI Intelligence, which confirm that Kosovo ranks first in the Western Balkans for trade facilitation policies, second in the region and fifth in the world for attracting investments, thus strengthening its position as a safe and competitive country, for doing fair business and responsible investments directed towards production and innovation.
