Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, received at the meeting the Head of the Liaison Office of the Republic of Greece in the Republic of Kosovo, Heleni Vakali, and the Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs, Michail Vrettakis.
Initially, Minister Hajdari wished success to Ambassador Vakali in her mandate and informed her about the progress achieved in the Republic of Kosovo with the growing indicators of economic development, democracy and good governance that convey a message to expand economic cooperation with the Republic of Kosovo.
She informed Ambassador Vakali about the processes under the leadership of the ministry, highlighting the progress in the main areas of industry, innovation, entrepreneurship, trade and tourism.
In this meeting, Minister Hajdari and Ambassador Vakali also discussed regarding the organization and date of the Greece-Kosovo Economic Forum for October 2022. In this Economic Forum, local businesses will have the opportunity to meet and exchange trade with Greek businesses, while Minister Hajdari shall have bilateral meetings with its counterparts to discuss about further strengthening relations between the two countries through cooperation and professional exchanges between the relevant ministries Kosovo – Greece.
Minister Hajdari and Ambassador Vakali confirmed their willingness to deepen and expand bilateral cooperation in order to increase trade exchanges and increase investments between the two countries.
