The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, together with the Deputy Minister Getoar Mjeku, received the Ambassador of Israel in Kosovo, Tamar Ziv and the Ambassador of Kosovo in Israel, Ines Demiri.
Minister Hajdari welcomed Ambassador Tamar Ziv and thanked her for the recognition of the Republic of Kosovo by Israel. She informed him about the achievements and priorities of the ministry, specifically for the development of industry policies, innovation and entrepreneurship, promotion of investments and exports, improvement of the country's trade balance, challenges faced by the private sector and the need to support start-up businesses. small and medium, reforms in legislation to improve doing business and increase competitiveness as well as investment protection, in order to use as effectively as possible the competitive potential for "nearshoring" investments in our country.
Ambassador Tamar Ziv expressed readiness to intensify political, economic and cultural cooperation between the State of Israel and the Republic of Kosovo.
Minister Hajdari and Ambassador Ziv praised the good relations between the two countries and confirmed the readiness to deepen and expand economic cooperation through the establishment of a joint economic committee, with co-chairing and good bilateral cooperation through exchange of experiences between the Republic of Kosovo and the State of Israel in different economic sectors.
