Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, along with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, KIESA`s directors, KTA and Kosovo Customs and other colleagues, have received the delegation of “LIDL” GmbH & Co KG company, a well-known company in the biggest chain of food stores in the world, established in 1973 and currently extended to 31 countries of the world.
With the LIDL delegation, consisting of Maksymilian Braniecki, Chairman and Head of Central and Eastern Europe at LIDL, Marco Giudici, General Manager of LIDL in Romania, Tomasz Kuzma, Director for Enlargement at LIDL, and their colleagues on the Board of Directors Mia Marianne Körkemeyer and Moritz Schwab, visited three strategic locations proposed by KIESA colleagues, suitable for the future logistics centre of the company "LIDL" in the Republic of Kosovo, after their conversation with manufacturers and processors of food and beverages, good potential for supply for the company "LIDL" and exports to the world.
The delegation of LIDL Company was greeted with their commitment to invest and develop their business in Kosovo, while concluding that Kosovo has many competitive potentials for investment and, among other things, is the country with the best tax system in the world.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, remains committed and available to LIDL investors, to facilitate their steps to do business in Kosovo, for more jobs for our young people and to increase the quality and standards of a range of high quality fresh food and products in our country and in the world.
