The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, hosted in a meeting senior representatives of the Vermeer Corporation, based in Iowa, USA, namely Mr. Daryl Bouwkamp Sr. Director Int. Business Development and his associates Mr. Bruce Braithwaite, Senior Regional Manager and Mr. Ivan Alfirević, General Manager for South East Europe.
Minister Hajdari appreciated the interest of the senior representatives of the Vermeer corporation to become more familiar with the context of our country, with their intentions to provide Vermeer's innovative solutions to the Kosovo market. She informed them closely about the general progress and structural reforms that have an impact on improving the environment for doing business in our country.
The Vermeer Corporation is built upon a legacy of innovation and grit for more than 70 years. What started as a mechanical elevator for grain wagons has grown into a global company that manufactures industrial equipment for a multitude of industries, including biomass, construction, surface mining and organic recycling.
The main discussions of this meeting concluded with expressions of interest from Vermeer's senior representatives in finding, training and developing the workforce, preparing for the future, as well as supporting Kosovar companies with the use of Vermeer solutions.
