Minister of Economy, Employment, Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Investments (MEETIESI), Rozeta Hajdari, and her cabinet, met with municipal inspectorates to clarify government decisions and ministry orders following the state of emergency.
Minister Hajdari has said that she has received many complaints from businesses about government orders, which have not been followed properly by municipal inspectorates.
The minister said that information on the ordinances should be better explained to businesses by municipal inspectorates.
"It is not the intention of the Government of Kosovo to impose fines, but to take measures, because we want to keep safe the life of people, but also to protect businesses, because they are important for the economy of our country," said Minister Hajdari.
The minister has urged municipal inspectorates to read the instructions properly and not close businesses that are not prohibited by the order of the government.
The minister's appeal to all municipal inspectorates was to follow the instructions of the Ministry of Health, so that businesses enforce hygiene rules and safeguards to protect the health of citizens.
