The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari welcomed Mr. Craig Kim, Economic Affairs Officer at the US Embassy in Kosovo, welcoming him and wishing him success in his new post.
The conversation mainly focused on commercial issues and the development of the private sector, whereupon Minister Hajdari announced the progress achieved in the drafting and approval of policies on industrial development and sustainable tourism, as well as in the drafting processes of the trade and responsible and sustainable investment policies in our country.
Minister Hajdari also informed Mr. Kim about the organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET) and programs it has designed to enhance the environment of doing fair, adaptable and competitive business, to ensure an improved trade balance.
The Minister further expressed her gratitude for the steadfast support of the US Embassy to Kosovo.
The parties agreed that this cooperation will be deepened even more in the future, in various economic fields, with an emphasis on increasing commercial exchanges between Kosovo and the United States of America.
