Promoting products, services, presenting experiences and various activities in order to encourage visitors to experience the Kosovo beauties is the primary goal of MTI, which also reflects in the overall economic development, “said Minister of Trade and Industry, Bajram Hasani at the conference “Tourism and economic development”, which was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, and was attended by the ministers of many European Union countries.
Minister Hasani stated the Kosovo offers favorable opportunities for tourism development, and that during the four seasons of the year. "The Ministry of Trade and Industry, realizing the importance of tourism and its contribution to the economic development of Kosovo, is committed to develop a sustainable and competitive tourism," added the Head of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Minister Hasani emphasized that advancement of the road infrastructure, like the highway and the construction of the new and modern airport will give an easier access and better connection with the Kosovo visitors.
According to him, this will also serve as bypass to reach other regional countries.
Presenting the beauties of Kosovo, Minister Hasani said that Kosovo, although a small country, has very good natural and cultural tourism potential but is still an unexplored country for most foreign visitors. "Wonderful natural attractions such as high mountains, waterfalls, caves, lakes, rivers, thermic spas etc. we have prepared them as touristic package and we are offering them as active and adventurous tourism, rural tourism, winter sports, hiking in nature, mountaineering, etc., "said Minister Hasani.
