The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, had a virtual conversation with the Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Philip S. Kosnett.
Minister Veseli said that the ministry that he leads highly appreciates the cooperation and partnership so far with the Government of the United States of America and with agencies such as: USAID and MCC that operate in Kosovo.
The Minister said that the Government of Kosovo is interested in continuing cooperation in economic development, the fight against corruption and dealing with COVID-19 pandemics.
The minister also briefed the ambassador on the economic recovery plan, which foresees 1.2 billion entering the economy, and showed his commitment for working hard to support local businesses and protect consumers.
For his part, Ambassador Kosnett stressed the three strategic pillars of American policy toward Kosovo: calmness, justice and well-being.
The ambassador stressed that the USA will continue to support the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
