The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, held a virtual meeting with the representatives of the European Free Trade Association – EFTA (European Free Trade Association).
It is worth mentioning that this is the first meeting of the Joint Committee Kosovo-EFTA, which is the highest decision-making body.
In this virtual meeting, the main topic discussed were the steps to be taken by Kosovo for starting negotiations for reaching free trade agreement.
Minister Krasniqi discussed regarding many opportunities for cooperation between Kosovo and member states of this association, especially on reform issues that enable Kosovo faster integration into the European Union.
He thanked them for the continuous support that this association has provided to Kosovo, as well as for the good relations that have been established in the field of economic cooperation of Kosovo with the member states of this association.
Also, Minister Krasniqi expressed the readiness of Kosovo institutions, respectively the ministry he leads, that they are deeply committed that Kosovo implements European reforms.
