The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Switzerland in Kosovo, Thomas Kolly, with whom they talked about trade relations, investment opportunities, the role of the Albanian Diaspora, tourism and agriculture.
Minister Krasniqi initially thanked the Swiss state for the continuous support to Kosovo.
"We should not forget that Switzerland has been and it is a friendly country of Kosovo, which has helped our country before the war, during and after the war in recovery and development," said Minister Krasniqi.
The Minister stressed the need for even greater cooperation and bridges between Kosovo and Switzerland businesses, by inviting Swiss investors to come to Kosovo and invest.
Speaking about mountain tourism, the minister mentioned places with great potential for skiing, such as: Brezovica, Rugova, Brodi and Shala e Bajgores.
"Switzerland as a country known for ski slopes and with a developed mountain tourism can help these areas by making them an attraction not only for the citizens of the region, but also for visitors to Western European countries," said the minister. .
The Swiss Ambassador, Thomas Kolly, thanked the Minister for the information presented and expressed the readiness of the Swiss state to continue its support for Kosovo.
