The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, together with the Chief Inspector Lulzim Syla have visited several businesses to see closely the implementation of anti-COVID 19 measures, as well as the challenges that businesses are facing during the pandemic.
The Minister urged businesses to be careful in implementing the measures.
"We came here to closely see how much these measures are being respected by our businesses. We have increased inspections throughout the country and in all municipalities. After the total removal of the measures and after their return there has been a difficulty that our inspectorate is facing. "There was a problem, fines were imposed, but now what we are seeing is that the inspectors have done a great job," said the minister.
Minister Krasniqi was also interested in the quality of food, especially for dairy products after the complaints received from various associations in this field.
"Several meetings that I have had with various associations have expressed their concerns about the quality of some imported products, thus we are here together with the field experts to see the quality and quantity. We said at the beginning that the main focus will be the protection of local producers and that of the consumer and we are doing our best to protect our producers ", said Minister Krasniqi.
The Minister was satisfied with all the measures as well as with the ordering of food and the placement of flags of origin of the products.
