Minister Krasniqi participated in the ceremony “Rest Albanian”, dedicated to the development of tourism Kosovo-Albania

The Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Kosovo, Vesel Krasniqi participated in the ceremony organized by the Minister of Tourism and Environment of Albania, Blendi Klosi and the Ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, which was held as a sign of gratitude for the mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.

Minister Krasniqi stressed that cooperation with Tirana has occurred since the war, especially in the development of tourism.

"We, the two governments, for 6 years now have intensively started with various agreements for removing the barriers that we have had both countries here and beyond the mountains. For strengthening this cooperation even more and removing these barriers, we have assessed from both sides that the tourism sector is the one. “, emphasized Minister Krasniqi.

He said that seeing the mutual interest, initially the summer tourist season in Albania was opened with the motto "Rest Albanian".

"Not only that we have we rested Albanian, we have eaten Albanian, because that is how culture and history unite us," said Krasniqi, by inviting citizens from Albania to rest in the Kosovo mountains.

Meanwhile, the host of the ceremony, "Rest Albanian", the Minister of Tourism and Environment of Albania, Blendi Klosi, praised highly the contribution of the citizens of Kosovo for the development of tourism in Albania, with special emphasis on the time of the pandemic.

"We have a joint home for millions of tourists visiting our sides of the border. When we needed tourism, it was Kosovo. We started with Durrës in the north and south. This year is also very difficult, the influx of visitors was present throughout the summer. "I have to say thank you and unlimited gratitude", stressed Minister Klosi.

Also present at the ceremony was Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri, who said that Kosovo and Albania have a unique cooperation in the field of tourism.

Also present at the ceremony were mayors from Albania, as well as several mayors of Kosovo.
