The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, received in a meeting the representatives of the Kosovo Hotel and Tourism Chamber, Gastronomy Association, Kosovo Tourism Union and Chamber of Commerce, where they talked about supporting these sectors according to the measures of the Government of Kosovo.
On this occasion, Minister Krasniqi has informed the representatives of these sectors that based on the Government decision, No. 06/58, on subsidizing the gastronomy sectors, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has established a Working Group, which will prepare the plan and sectoral criteria for the implementation of specific measures for the allocating the budgetary funds to implement the Economic Recovery Program for 2021 of the Government of Kosovo.
According to Minister Krasniqi, for subsidizing these sectors that were affected by the government decisions due to the prohibition of the business activity due to anti-Covid 19 measures, the Government of Kosovo has allocated 3 million euros to support these sectors in the development of business activity.
