The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi received in a meeting the representatives of the Dairy Association, where they talked about the criteria of specific measures, namely the subsidy of milk stocks and dairy products, as well as some other sectors.
On this occasion, Minister Krasniqi informed the participants that based on the decision of the Government, dated 14.01.2021, with protocol number 06/58, we have established a commission for preparing the plan and criteria for the implementation of the 8th measure. , according to point 1.8, sub-point 1.8.2, which foresees the possibility of supporting, respectively subsidizing local producers.
According to Minister Krasniqi, these subsidies for exports and local producers, in the amount of 5 million euros, the subsidy of milk stocks and dairy products in the amount of 1 million euros, as well as the subsidy of gastronomy sectors in the amount of 3 million euros, will to be an incentive for the development of business activity of these sectors.
Minister Krasniqi informed the representatives of the Dairy Association that for a more detailed treatment of subsidy support for these categories, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has established a Working Group, which will prepare a plan and sectoral criteria for the implementation of specific measures for allocation of budgetary means to implement the Economic Recovery Program for 2021, of the Government of Kosovo.
