The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, received the representatives of the Kosovo Wood Processors Association, where the topic of discussion was the continuation of support for this activity in Kosovo.
Minister Krasniqi praised the wood industry in Kosovo as very successful and stressed the fact that the Ministry of Trade and Industry has consistently supported this sector with grants to increase employment, purchase of new machinery and participation in fairs.
The Minister said that he will continue with the policy of supporting businesses to increase exports and further strengthen this activity.
In the meeting it was also discussed about the measures taken by the Government of Kosovo to support businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
