The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, has visited today the businesses “Meridian”, “Neptun” and “M-Technology” listening closely to the concerns that have been presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Minister Krasniqi said that they will stay close to businesses to provide them with support in the challenges they face, adding that the Government has drafted a Package for the Economy Recovery.
"The purpose of the visit since the first week as a Minister of Trade and Industry was to get a closer look at the problems of businesses caused by pandemics, which have been damaged like any other country in the world. We were closely informed with business representatives about the damage caused, their possibilities to keep the staff and how much they felt the hand of the state. Also during the visit we made we saw the placement of flags and the quality of products", he said.
The Minister said that the package of assistance to businesses has been divided into two phases, which in the second phase will aim the recovery of the economy.
"We also informed businesses about the package for the economy recovery that has drafted the government a program divided it into two phases. The first phase is the emergency fiscal package, and the second is the recovery package, which is mainly calculated for the period 2021. All businesses will be informed, and classified and somewhere up to 70 percent of businesses will be get assistance, "he said.
Minister Krasniqi said that despite the problems that businesses have had, they have begun to recover, and the state will also help them.
"Today we really saw a great willingness of businesses, which despite the problems they have had, have begun to recover and together with the help of the state we will be able to recover the country's economy," said Minister Krasniqi.
