The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, together with the market inspectors has visited the factory for the production of cement, “Sharrcem” in Hani i Elezit
Minister Krasniqi was hosted by the managers of this factory with whom he talked about working conditions, the market and the impact of the pandemic on production.
The Minister has closely watched the production process and operation up to packaging for sale.
In a meeting with the technical director and his staff, they talked about the legal possibilities for producers and investors, where the Minister offered their support for Kosovo products to be part of the international market and to be competitive in terms of quality.
Minister Krasniqi said that after the signing of the agreement with the SAA, laws have been prepared that have enabled businesses that produce construction products to place them in the foreign market.
"We have issued the administrative instruction, exactly for cement and today the management of this company informed us that it has started to implement and is opening many opportunities and facilities for the placement of their product in the market," said Krasniqi.
The technical director of "Sharrcemi", Behar Disha, thanked the minister for the visit and informed him about the work and operation of the factory.
"Sharrcem" currently meets more than 50 percent of the Kosovo market.
