The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, visited the Economic Zone in Budrika of Vitia, where he saw closely the works that are being done in the finalization of this important economic project for this region.
He said that the works are in the final stage and are expected to be functional for businesses in Vitia and the surrounding area in the spring of the next year.
"We intend to announce new procedures for the annex of this area next year, where the mayor has pledged that the procedures required by law through the municipal assembly to be completed in early spring. This area which is in the final stage is expected to accommodate about 40 businesses. The value of this whole project is 1.8 million euros. We expect it to be an area of interest not only for the municipality of Vitia. I think that this way we are creating a good space for businesses in this area. There will be investors who will bring their capital from abroad as well. These businesses will directly affect the economic development of our country. Also next year we aim at two more areas", stressed Krasniqi.
Minister Krasniqi mentioned once again that MTI aims at creating better conditions for businesses and economic development in the country.
Whereas the president of the Municipality of Vitia, Sokol Haliti said that we are expecting that Economic Zone becomes functional next year, with companies that will create new jobs, financial revenues and economic development for the entire region.
