According to her, strengthening innovation and developing the private sector remain our top priorities.
She said that the results of the long-term cooperation with MIETI are already evident, from working on the legislative plan, including the Draft Law on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, to supporting businesses in increasing performance in digitalization and updating production and service delivery systems, as well as the digitalization of MIETI’s service delivery.
The Minister outlined the grant support for businesses, emphasizing that this year alone, over 55 businesses have benefited from digitalization grants, while another 40 are expected to be supported on an ongoing basis.
She also emphasized that in collaboration with KIESA, the “Biznesi Im” platform is helping entrepreneurs with long-term planning and growth.
At this meeting, as the minister stated, discussions were held with representatives of ECIKS and the EnInGeP project about the establishment of the Innovation Fund, which will provide grants and access to finance for businesses, strengthening Kosovo’s path towards a sustainable and innovative economy.
