The coordination and harmonization of the pharmaceutical market was discussed at the meeting, as well as the importance of increasing transparency and improving operating conditions for businesses in this sector.
Special attention was paid to the protection of patients’ rights, in accordance with the competences of the Market Surveillance Inspectorate, with the aim of ensuring quality and safety in the pharmaceutical market.
The parties also discussed the advancement of institutional cooperation and the taking of concrete steps for a more efficient functioning of the market, in the service of businesses and citizens.
It was assessed that such meetings contribute to building a fairer, more transparent and more sustainable system for all.
