Minister Kusari-Lila opens the first edition of Italian Design Day in Kosovo

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, together with the Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Maurizio Antonini, participated in the opening of the first edition of “Italian Design Day” in Kosovo, a global initiative of the Republic of Italy that promotes creativity, innovation and the values ​​of Italian design worldwide.

The event brought together professionals from design, architecture, business and creative industries, creating a platform for the exchange of ideas and discussion on the role of design in economic and social development.

This year’s theme, “RE-DESIGN – Regenerating Spaces, Objects, Ideas and Relations”, focused on the impact that design can have in regenerating spaces, objects, ideas and relationships, as well as its contribution to sustainable development and the creation of innovative solutions for the future.

On this occasion, Minister Kusari-Lila emphasized the importance of creativity and innovation as key factors for economic development and increased competitiveness, underlining the great potential of cooperation between Kosovo and Italy in the fields of design, creative industries, technology and entrepreneurship.

During the event, the possibilities of expanding international cooperation and creating new partnerships that support the development of creative and innovative sectors were also discussed.

Minister Kusari-Lila praised the excellent relations between Kosovo and Italy, emphasizing that cooperation between the two countries is being continuously strengthened through concrete initiatives in the field of business, investment and economic development.

“Italian Design Day” is considered one of the most important international initiatives for promoting design as a factor of innovation, development and intercultural cooperation.
