The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, met with the new French Ambassador to Kosovo, Jean-François Huchet.
The meeting focused on existing cooperation between Kosovo and France, specifically regarding economic collaboration, trade relations, and new opportunities for partnership in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Minister Kusari-Lila outlined the Ministry’s achievements and efforts to promote Kosovo as a destination for French investors and to increase the presence of “Made in Kosovo” products on the French market.
In this context, the Ministry has supported eight Kosovar businesses from the food processing sector to participate in the international trade fair SIAL Paris 2026, scheduled from 17 to 21 October.
Discussions also covered intensifying cooperation for the French Business Days in Kosovo, expected to take place in February 2027, in coordination with the Kosovo Embassy in Paris.
Furthermore, an agreement was reached to develop a more structured cooperation program across the sectors of industry, trade, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Kusari-Lila emphasized the importance of France as a partner in developing the private sector, increasing investment, and advancing innovation in Kosovo.
