She stated that they discussed the next steps of cooperation between the two countries, including preparations for the visit of the Minister of Trade of Türkiye, Mr. Ömer Bolat.
The Minister emphasized that special attention should be given to advancing the Free Trade Agreement so that it is expanded to include the services sector, in addition to goods.
The meeting further addressed the need to enhance the presence of Turkish investments within the manufacturing sector. To date, Turkish companies have predominantly concentrated on the services sector, particularly in energy and aviation; however, there is considerable potential for their expansion into manufacturing.
During the meeting, representatives of the Kosovo Türkiye Chamber of Commerce highlighted the growing interest of Turkish manufacturing companies in investing in Kosovo, recognizing the country as a strategic gateway for exports to European and broader international markets.
