The Minister Bajrami took part at the roundtable meeting for presentation of the “Second Round of Investment Dialogue Platform”, organized by European Investors Council in cooperation with the government of Kosovo and the European Union Office.
Present were: the Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, EU Head of Office in Kosovo Nataliya Apostolova, minister of Finance Avdullah Hoti, minister for Economic Development Blerand Stavileci, Chairmen of European Investors Council Robert Erzin and Shpend Balija, Executive Director of the European Investors Council.
In her speech, minister Bajrami pointed out the importance of this roundtable for addressing issues raised by business community, respectively by European Investors Council.
On this occasion, minister Bajrami has mentioned some of evaluations received from business community, our institutions, and from credible reports in terms of doing business environment in Kosovo, as is the World Bank report, HERITAGE Foundation, as well as the award which d Kosovo government received few days ago as “the best government in Southeastern Europe for the support of entrepreneurship”.
During her discussions, in behalf of this thematic roundtable of this platform, minister Bajrami has encouraged business representatives who faces difficulties, to address them to the relevant government institutions.
As a new country, we are still emerging our institutional capacities, and I believe that a lot has been done on eliminating bureaucracy, legislation framework, and business environment, which I believe is better than ever before.
Still there is place for improvement, but we are here and committed to you that we will cooperate until the last issue is addressed”, said Minister Hykmete Bajrami.
