The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, at the invitation of the Ambassador of Israel in Kosovo, Tamar Ziv, and the Aspire Balkans team with the main partners STIKK from Kosovo and TAKT from Macedonia, participated in the opening of the Aspire Balkan Demo Day event.
At the opening of the event dedicated to women entrepreneurs, among the participants were the Former President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Pristina, Donjeta Sahatçiu, and the successful women entrepreneurs of the country.
Minister Rozeta Hajdari said that she was pleased and motivated to be present among women entrepreneurs with their creative ideas in business. She expressed her appreciation to the two Israeli ambassadors Mrs. Tamar Ziv in Kosovo and Mrs. Simona Frankel in North Macedonia, for their partnership for the development and funding of the women's support program, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel. She further emphasized that their very creative initiatives will always have her support as long as during her mandate she is committed to providing as much space, financial support and creating a favorable environment for the empowerment of our women entrepreneurs.
Minister Hajdari informed the participants that with the Law on Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Law on the Innovation Fund now being drafted, more opportunities and support will be provided to women in entrepreneurship, with the aim of empowering them and increasing the capital of entrepreneurship in our society.
With more start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises owned by women and their success, we will strengthen our society, by opening new jobs and moving towards creating a better well-being in our Republic.
