Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, has praised the United Kingdom`s support for the Republic of Kosovo during a meeting with the Ambassador of that country, Ruairi O’Connell.
Minister Shala said that the United Kingdom has a decisive role in Kosovo's journey towards economic reforms, adding that the support of this state is very necessary.
The Minister informed the Ambassador about the work of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the departments he covers and the work being done in support of local producers.
Also, Minister Shala expressed readiness to deepen relations between Kosovo and Britain, particularly in the field of investment.
Whereas, the United Kingdom Ambassador in Kosovo, Ruairi O'Connell, showed his country's readiness to continue supporting Kosovo in continuing reforms in the economic field and also to provide expertise to fight corruption and other negative phenomena in different areas.
